Coach Whitley - High Jump
Coach Baker - Weight Room
Coach Smith - Weight Room

Workouts:
All athletes are expected to be at all workouts. If you have a conflict, you must contact your head coach and individual field event coach. This is the athlete’s responsibility – not the parents. Workouts may be before school or after school, depending on the event and the coach.
Meet Participants:
A list of the athletes that are participating in each meet will be posted in the athletics hallway the day prior to the meet. If you know your child can not participate in a particular meet, please inform the coaches well IN ADVANCE. This is extremely important as we may have to shuffle several athletes around to fill in certain spots.
Girls need to report this information to Coach Schultheis
Boys need to report this information to Coach Jensen.
Track Uniform:
A track uniform will be checked out to each athlete prior to the meet. This uniform must be maintained in the same condition that it was in when checked out. The day after a meet all uniforms must be checked back in. If a uniform is not returned, the athlete will be charged a fee. Each athlete will get a top and shorts. All athletes may wear their Forestwood sweats to practices and meets.
Starting Blocks:
The district requires that all athletes running a 100, 200, 400, 100/110 hurdles, 300 hurdles and starters of the relays must use starting blocks.
Meet Procedures:
The day of the track meet, all athletes will meet in the designated area set by the coaches and prepare for the meet. Athletes must wear proper sweats, running shoes or spikes and track uniform. All athletes will travel together to the meet on a bus. If anyone leaves the meet site, they may only leave with their parents and must be signed out prior to leaving. Boys will sign out with Coach Jensen and girls will sign out with Coach Schultheis.
